Cello~Violin~Viola
Charlene has studied the cello for many years, among other stringed instruments, to include the violin and viola.
She currently plays with the Merrimack Valley Philharmonic Orchestra, located in N. Andover, MA, The Sir Robin’s Minstrels Renaissance Ensemble and the contemporary Christian music group New Beginnings.
She has played the cello with The NH Scottish Strathspey & Reel Ensemble, the Fitchburg College Orchestra, the Southern New Hampshire University Orchestra. She played the cello in Germany as a member of the VA National Medical Group, as well as at the Pentagon in Washington, DC.
She holds a BA in psychology, an AA in Musical Arts. She Is a Certified Music Practitioner; a MHTP Advisor; a member/President of the American String Teachers Association; was director of the Captain Samuel Douglas Academy Strings program, Brookline, NH; as well as director of the Youth String Orchestra of Mason, NH.
She teaches violin ,cello and viola lessons to children and adults.
Charlene is a native of the Boston area and resides in NH.
