Brian has been playing guitar since the age of five and has over 30 years experience teaching and coaching students of all ages and levels. He has more than 24 years experience working with special needs individuals and audiences. His proven teaching style includes honing in on a students music interests and transitioning to technical skills. He began playing guitar at the age of five and toured as an adult for over 25 years with national acts and local groups such as Dar Williams and Aztec Two-Step. Brian has coached many musicians, some developing careers in music such as Nashville songwriter John Langhorn and has recorded several CD’s including “Town Magnet” and “When I See You Again”. Brian plays out regularly as the lead vocalist in the local band “Bursitis Brothers”, Irish band “The Fitzmurphys” and regularly performs various solo acts including his very popular “Frank Sinatra” solo act.
